Pack House Manager - Vegetables - Kenya

We are currently representing a leading vegetable production company in Kenya and have been provided with an opportunity for an outstanding professional to join this fantastic company.

Our client is looking for a pack house / production manager to be based in the northern region of Kenya. This position is with a fantastic company that is experiencing a huge amount of growth and who predominantly provide fresh vegetables to the European market. As such, knowledge of vegetable handling practices are beneficial to your application!

Responsibilities
- Management of the pack house operations including all pack house staff and operations.
- Provide weekly/monthly and annual reports to the General Manager and Logistics Director.
- Building and implementing best practice policies and principles.
- Develop and train a team of pack house staff.
- Assist in the expansion of the operations.

Requirements

- Must have 10 years experience in fresh or perishable pack houses.
- Must have excellent management experience
- Preferably have experience in the in the region or similar locations.
- Must have must have excellent communication skill and speak fluent English.
