Job description / Role
•Responsible for all lab preparations for all samples, and other supporting materials needed to run all packaging lab tests.
•Applying all performance tests and compatibility test according to the approved test procedures and Henkel guidelines.
•Analyzing and evaluating the competitor packaging, markets news and state of art packaging technology.
•Participating in developing packaging solutions for standard and promotions packages.
•Preparing needed references or standard samples for launch or re-launch to be shared with Local R&D.
•Creating and maintaining all packaging specifications data's on SAP system
•Participating in industrial trials, production start-up for new packaging sizes and filling lines upon request.
•Participating in market research tests, in-home visits and store checks to stay closer in understanding consumer needs.
Requirements
•Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science, Packaging Science, Packaging Technology or any relevant field.
•Minimum 1 year in R&D Packaging Development or Packaging Quality Control.
•Basic knowledge in Packaging Quality Inspection.
•Basic Knowledge in the area of Packaging (Material, Processing & Filling Line).
•Fluency in English.
•Arabic language is a plus.
•Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
•Highly collaborative.
