The Role


The Role


A diverse and exciting role has become available with one of the UAE’s leading retail distributors. Representing strong, luxury brand names, they operate over 25 retail stores for these brands and have an overall distribution network of over 50 mono-brand stores and premium department stores across the region.
The role, although administrative has a large legal component and the incumbent will be responsible for managing all legal matters for the company with the core focus on the following:

Drafting and reviewing legal documentation, resolutions,
Manage contract renewals, attestations, notarizations
Manage lease and franchise agreements, review and make recommendations
Advise regional offices (KSA, Bahrain and Egypt) on all legal matters
Manage the insurance process for the company
Conduct legal research
Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contracts
Manage compliance and due diligence administration

Additionally, the role encompasses the office management function, leading and managing all administrative and maintenance related matters to ensure smooth running of the office. This includes managing the resourcing planning for the office premises and equipment, manage repair and maintenance of all assets and archive management. The Office Manager is also responsible for three direct reports, the Office Assistant, Receptionist and Cleaner.

To be considered for the role you must possess a law degree and have had experience within the retail sector. Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English are required and candidates should have the ability to be able to interact with people from all levels and exhibit strong values and ethics.
