Employment: Full Time

Our client, a business within financial services are looking to hire a Paralegal to join their expanding team.

Working closely alongside the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer you will provide support with corporate transactions and litigation to ensure that tasks are completed successfully and within timescales. You will also coordinate and assist in the preparation of documents required to comply with legal and regulatory requirements as well as being responsible for the administration of the companies legal vehicle structure and organisational documents. Your key responsibilities include, assisting attorneys to prepare integral corporate documents/materials, working directly with attorneys and clients during closings and corporate transactions as well as assisting with government filings and registrations. You will be expected to prepare reports on Director fees and the preparation of summary reports of litigation, transactional and billing information.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be Western educated with a Paralegal Certification and / or a Law Degree, along with the equivalent training and experience of working in a law firm or in house legal department. You should have strong legal drafting skills and have the ability to analyse legal documents as well as in depth knowledge of legal terminology and principles.
