Our Client, A US Holding Group, is currently recruiting for a Corporate Paralegal to join their Dubai office. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging, engaging work that will give you the opportunity to make your mark and progress your career.

The paralegal role will provide support largely to the Management team on negotiating and finalizing cross-border corporate and commercial contracts relating to business matters, joint ventures, acquisitions and disposals. The role will also provide exposure to commercial discussions. The individual will also be required to contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the office by assisting with requirements gathering, process evaluation and supporting documentation as required.

You will work as part of a team to carry out a wide range of tasks as required for a range of transactions including joint ventures, acquisitions or disposals including; reviewing and marking up term sheets, memorandum of associations (MOUs), non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), shareholder agreements (SHAs) and share or asset acquisition documents (SPAs/APAs).

Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience:

- An undergraduate degree preferably in law, preferably 2:1 or above, or equivalent (if undergraduate degree in an area other than law must have completed conversion course).
- Must have completed the LPC or BVC or be overseas qualified or equivalent;
- Previous paralegal experience (particularly in the area of finance and/or corporate law) is preferred.

Technical Skills:

- Good typing skills and experience in using MS Office tools in particular Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer,
- Excellent attention to detail, enthusiasm and self-motivation.
- The ability to analyse large amounts of data.
