Paralegal

Job description / Role

Miller Hay are currently recruiting for a Paralegal for our client a Magic Circle law firm based in Dubai. This role will be part of the Disputes Resolution team and experience in this area is essential.

- Uploading documentation into the data management system and ensuring all documentation is collated, copied, redacted and indexed
- Proofreading and reviewing all documents, checking amendments and definitions, and verifying cross-references
- Coordinating the photocopying, scanning and archiving documents
- Undertaking due diligence / contract reviews
- Production of bibles, including document sourcing etc
- Organisation of and attendance at signings and completions including preparation of documentation and client-facing assistance
- Ensuring the collection or deliver of documents to locations within the Middle East and overseas
- Undertaking legal research by utilising the firms internal resources, precedents and know-how and using external legal databases and research tools
- Providing assistance with billing
- Other reasonable and lawful tasks as instructed

Requirements

- Native or fluent English language skills
- Minimum 2.1 undergraduate Law degree (or equivalent) or non law degree with Graduate Diploma in Law completed
- Office administration experience and ideally previous paralegal work experience in the Middle East
