Al-Futtaim Automotive occupies the pre-eminent position of the largest distributor of automotive products in the UAE, and leads the rapid development of automobile business in the UAE while continuing to contribute to their brands worldwide growth.

Select Auto, part of Al-Futtaim Automotive Group, has been set up to deliver the regional requirements of Oil & Gas, EPC, NGO and Defence clients around the globe, with emphasis on remote and emerging expeditionary markets. Select Auto supplies heavy construction equipment, MHE, vehicles, generators and maintenance services. It is the single point of contact for customers of this profile in these emerging markets and will operate as an internal customer for the other automotive group companies wishing to expand into remote locations.

We are currently seeking a Parts Man to effectively support the Parts Supervisor in managing the inventory for Select Auto operations in Afghanistan through best-practice stock management processes, and to provide the interface with walk-in customers and workshop technicians meeting or exceeding their expectations in terms of material support.

The key responsibilities area s follows:

* Formal receipt of all parts ensuring each consignment is inspected for damage, completeness of order and up loaded into SAP through a Goods Receipt Notice.
* Report any discrepancy or damage to consignments and take corrective action.
* Issue of all parts through SAP to either service orders or parts sales orders.
* Ensure appropriate storage conditions are maintained for all stock and that stock location records are accurately maintained.
* Ensure all demands for stock replenishment are submitted in a timely manner to maintain mandated minimum stock levels.
* Ensure priority demands for stock meet the end users required delivery date. Where an extended lead-time is reported ensure the customers fully informed and that full priority progression of the order is maintained with the Procurement cell in Dubai until the demand is fulfilled.
* Any other duty or task as reasonably required

Requirements

To be considered for this role you will need to possess:

* High School graduate
* 5 years in a related role
* Experienced in stock management/stock control
* Good technical understanding of auto motive parts
* Fully conversant with SAP or a similar ERP system
* Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office tools
* Good English communication skills both verbal and written
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, problem solving and anticipatory skills, multi-tasking/ time management skills
* Willingness to deploy to austere and post-conflict environments
* Must have the ability to build and maintain friendly, warm relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Willingness to go the extra mile, without compromise to the Company's interest or Policy, to satisfy customers both internal and external
* Ability to work in an adaptable/flexible manner with minimum supervision
