Parts Manager - Al Futtaim Auto Center (ALAC)

Al-Futtaim is regarded as a pioneer in the Gulf region's Automotive industry and encompasses every aspect of the Automotive business; from passenger and commercial vehicles and construction equipment sales and service, to used car sales and rental and leasing.

Al Futtaim Auto Center (ALAC) is part of the Al Futtaim's Automotive Division. ALAC has six divisions comprising of Body Centers - Toyota & Lexus within UAE, Fast Repair, Customs & Classics, Auto Equip, Tyre Zone and Fastfit. ALAC offers end to end solutions in aftersales for both business to business & retail customers.We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Parts Manager to be a part of our Al Futtaim Auto Centre (ALAC) team.

The key accountabilities of the position include:

* Staff management which includes hiring, training, motivating and performance monitoring.
* Maintain an orderly workplace.
* Create and oversee annual operating budget for the Parts Department.
* Work with the Bodyshop department, collision repair and wholesale account representatives to ensure inventory is available when needed.
* Establish competitive pricing specifications in various categories while generating sufficient profits and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
* Determine appropriate inventory levels while ensuring periodic parts turnover.
* Adjusting stock to curtail accumulation of unused or old parts.
* Confirming that parts are appropriately coded so the dealership can claim a complete refund for unused factory stock.
* Reviewing sales figures, costs and stock monthly to ensure budget benchmarks are met.

Requirements

The suitable candidate will have the following qualification, skills and experience:

* Must have at least 5 years' experience as an automotive Parts Manager within a franchise dealership.
* Must be computer literate.
* SAP experience is preferred.
* Must have the ability to train and coach, build relationships and utilize skills appropriately.
* Must have the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
* Must have the ability adjust priorities and structure time wisely in a fast paced environment.
* Must have the ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner and listen attentively to others to understand material, and provide instructions to all employees.
