Parts Manager - Al Futtaim Motors - Hino Trucks and Material Handling Equipment

Besides Toyota, AF Motors also holds exclusive franchises for some of the world's top automobiles and automotive products like Hino - Japan's leading heavy-duty vehicle manufacturer, Toyo & Chen shin/ Maxxis tyres, GS & Panasonic batteries and many more.

To provide full back-up support to these world-class franchises, AF Motors have an established network of showrooms and service & parts centres throughout the UAE.

Based within the UAE, the Parts Manager will be responsible for continuous monitoring of Hino Trucks & Toyota Industrial Equipment parts operations from a process, facility, inventory, storage and financial health platform. The successful candidate will ensure maximization of parts sales to service & parts centers, dealers, retail customer that is aimed at maximizing profit and ensuring excellent customer service. You will report directly to General Manager of Al Futtaim Motors - Commercial Vehicles.

The key accountabilities of the position include:

* Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, commercial and wholesale environment in line with Just In Time inventory levels and maximum fill rate
* Ensure the establishing of a vast customer base to generate sufficient gross profit while maintaining excellent customer loyalty
* Implement recommended operational, marketing and financial advancement programs to ensure corporate vitality and safe working environment
* Implement and monitor all sales representatives' performance to ensure the maximization of all profits
* Ensure the adherence to Customer Relations Management and customer database management to ensure accurate prospecting and net sales maximization
* Implementation of new systems and ideas to ensure faster, accurate on on-time distribution of parts to all customers
* Ensure active staff and employee engagement

Requirements

These are leadership roles and they demand leaders with the following qualification, experience and skills:

* Tertiary educational qualifications preferably in logistics or business management.
* Sound Automotive Parts and Aftersales operations experience and more specifically in the commercial vehicles business.
* 5 to 7 years of experience in a leadership role within the automotive distribution and retail industry.
* Extensive retail experience with an in-depth understanding of aftersales and parts activities is considered a must for this opportunity!
