The RoleThe RoleAl-Futtaim Motors occupies the pre-eminent position of the largest distributor of automotive products in the Emirates, and leads the rapid development of automobile business in the UAE, while continuing to contribute to Toyota's worldwide growth. Today, Al-Futtaim Motors is synonymous with Toyota and Lexus, which enjoy undisputed leadership in the UAE in terms of the largest number of vehicles on the road. Besides Toyota, we also hold exclusive franchises for some of the world's top automobiles and automotive products like Hino - Japan's leading heavy-duty vehicle manufacturer, Toyo & Chen shin/ Maxxis tyres, GS & Panasonic batteries and many more. In this role your main responsibilities includes the following: * Sales of Toyota genuine parts to institutional, government and fleet customers * Leader of sales team (5-8 sales persons) * Responsible for achieving sales volume and profitability targets * Responsible for liasing with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction Specifically, you are expected to manage the following: * Develop, maintain and extend client relationships in person, through telephone calls & emails. * Analyze client performance and provide reports. * Research & analyze competition, competitive issues, products, and industry trends. * Participate in trade exhibitions / shows & travel to visit clients. * Arranging meeting with potential customers to develop business. * Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses & requirements. * Feeding future buying trends back to management - MIS feedback. * Attending team meetings & sharing best practices with other team members. * Identifying untapped potential through market surveys & dealer feedback with the objective of increasing the spread of parts availability on a pan UAE basis. * Recommending the appointment of dealers after assessing their capabilities and negotiation of commercial terms. * Setting performance targets of dealers, monitoring their performance and providing regular feedback to them. * Setting up appropriate commercial terms to dealers including discounts, payments terms etc. * Initiating an internet marketing plan for parts & accessories. * Day-to-day client relationship management & work with each client to establish target, goals & objectives. * Developing team skills through coaching & training. * Implementation of the 'Toyota Way'. |
RequirementsRequirementsTo be successfully considered for the above position, you should be able to demonstrate: * A Master's degree in Marketing / Management discipline. * Experience in dealer sales in automotive industry. * Good understanding of the ‘Toyota Way' & Kaizen philosophy. * A successful track record of managing sales teams that execute sales plans & strategies across UAE with excellent management skills. * Suitable candidate must have a pleasing personality, self-motivated, result oriented with a positive outlook towards the job. * Strong business and commercial acumen. * Possess strong analytical skills, good communication and excellent interpersonal skills are a MUST. * A basic computer skill is essential and knowledge of SAP would be a definite advantage. * Have a minimum of 10 years experience in automotive parts sales in the UAE/GCC. * Have a minimum of 5 years experience working at a managerial level. * Business-to-business sales management experience across multiple locations, sales teams & profit centres. * Be confident working in a leadership role. * Excellent business relationship management skills. * Ability to work both individually and as part of a team. * Organizational skills, attention to detail. * Ability to bring energy, creative solutions and ideas to all projects. |
