Job Title: Parts Sales Manager, Global Fleet Sales
Location: Laem Chabang, Thailand

We are a global aid and development dealer for Ford Motor Company and sell/modify vehicles for use by humanitarian and development non-governmental organizations, government and commercial businesses.

We operate in an expanding and dynamic international environment of general trading and service operations in emerging markets.

Key responsibilities of the post:

• Based in Laem Chabang, Thailand, reporting to the Group Parts Sales Manager and working with the sales, warehouse and technical teams, distributors, suppliers and retailers
• Maximize profit through the effective operation of the Parts Department
• Ensure Parts Sales Department financial objectives are achieved
• Organize Parts sales promotions to boost sales at appropriate opportunities
• Monitor and control resources and assets consistent with dealership’s profit requirements
• Maximize departmental profitability through the sale of parts, accessories and other value added products and services
• Ensure effective customer relations management and efficient and prompt systems for processing of customer orders
• Develop and maintain effective lines of communication with manufacturers, suppliers, statutory representatives and all other contacts
• Advise and support as required on vehicles’ structural make-up, component assembly, associated parts and superseded items
• Determine and set up suitable levels of required personnel to achieve departmental targets
• Manage a Parts Sales team and create an environment for the team to develop and excel
• Ensure all administrative functions of the Parts Department are carried out effectively
• Enhance the reputation of Global Fleet Sales at every opportunity when interacting with others

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Strong inventory management skills are a prerequisite
• Technical knowledge, experience of the Parts and Accessories industry
• Skills in applying and using knowledge in a management position
• Relevant and up-to-date knowledge of parts and accessories, the supply chain and logistics of operating a trade distribution system
• Knowledge of vehicle legislation, automotive industry and trade practices
• Experience and knowledge of modern business methods and financial control
• Skills in using this knowledge in a practical way
• Ability to organize clerical work, administration, control systems and financial resources.
• Leadership and coaching attributes
• Knowledge of the changing face of the industry. Legislation and its effects on the business
• (Preferred) Membership of The Institute Of The Motor Industry
• Strong numeracy, literacy and communication skills
