The RoleThe RoleRM Asia Group of Companies Job Title: Parts Specialist, After Sales Location: Laem Chabang, Thailand RM Asia Group is a partner in the development of South East Asia, Asia and Africa, uniquely positioned to promote economic development. We are a global aid and development dealer for Ford Motor Company and sell/modify vehicles for use by humanitarian and development non-governmental organizations, government and commercial businesses. We operate in an expanding and dynamic international environment of general trading and service operations in emerging markets. We are looking for two Parts Specialists (GM and Ford) Key responsibilities of the post: Based in Laem Chabang, Thailand, reporting to the Group Parts Sales Manager and working with other Parts Department staff, factory staff, suppliers and their representatives Identify and verify for quality, quantity and description, parts stocks and other goods from suppliers Receive into the department and correctly locate items in established bin and other locations Accurately identify, locate for factory staff and customers by means of acquired knowledge, parts catalogues and computer stock lists Conduct all transactions with factory staff and customers pleasantly and courteously with an emphasis on customer service Work within agreed discount structure and customer terms including the sensitive areas of credit withdrawal Seek ways to increase parts and workshop sales by identifying customer needs and incremental items to sell Enhance the reputation of Global Fleet Sales at every opportunity when interacting with others Ensure that all required parts and any additional parts and accessories are available and offered to customers and workshop staff Ensure that all parts sold and issued are in serviceable condition and suitable for their intended use Work within and help to maintain the stock control system timely and accurately Ensure all documentation relating to stock movements, both routine and exceptional, is accurately recorded within stock control system |
RequirementsRequirementsIdeal candidates will possess: At least 3 years experience as a vehicle Parts Specialist Numeracy and literacy to a level adequate to deal with parts documentation Ability to identify parts from parts catalogues, microfiches and electronic media to meet customer requests A good understanding of vehicle make-up to enable related and additional parts required to be advised to customers Ability to gain competence in the stock control systems used Ability to maintain best practice in manual handling methods Received training and coaching in professional sales techniques in selling parts and accessories Capabilities to demonstrate a professional service to customers |
