The RoleThe RoleParts Supervisor - Honda - Abu Dhabi Honda is one of the UAE's most popular automotive brands and enjoys a presence here dating back to the 1970's when it was introduced by the Al-Futtaim family. Honda's presence in the market has grown considerably, aided of course by excellent products - a car for every occasion, motorcycles, marine motors and other power products to make lives easier. We are the sole distributor for all Honda products in the UAE and our nationwide network of showrooms cover the country to enable everybody to experience and enjoy the Honda range of products easily and conveniently. Based in Abu Dhabi, the Parts Supervisor in Honda will be responsible in achieving the budgeted parts sales volume and gross profit, and company's objective through motivating and leading the parts team and ensuring agreed service ratio to our customers.Alternatively, the key accountabilities of the position include the following:* To manage the location inventory within acceptable standards and be able to handle customers at all levels* To identify new business opportunities* To maintain customer service standards and parts process that meets the principal and company's requirements* To ensure predictive parts ordering takes place to maintain high level of customer service* To ensure effective stock control and warehouse management through regularly reviewing key operating controls (E.g. Perpetual inventory, KAIZEN, Recalls)* To monitor and evaluates customer need and competitor activity in the spare parts market (E.g. Seasonal parts ordering)* To regularly review parts accessory displays to reflect sales trend and opportunities * To perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork |
RequirementsRequirements To be successfully considered for the above position, candidates will possess the following attributes:* Graduate in Commerce or Degree / Diploma in Automotive Engineering or similar qualification* Minimum 3 - 5 years experience as Parts In-Charge or Parts Saleman in a reputed automotive dealership* Good communication skills (both written and verbal)* Must have a good command of the English Language and Arabic is preferable* Knowledge of SAP is a definite advantage* Technically knowledgeable of brand* Must have sound knowledge on Account receivables / Credit management* Well Versed in MS Office and able to read and understand management reports |
