Select Auto is an Al-Futtaim Automotive Company, providing premium solutions including sales, leasing & maintenance of heavy equipment, vehicles and power generation, to a variety of clients in austere locations. As the single point of contact for customers in these regions, Select will operate also act as an internal customer for the other automotive group companies.

We are currently seeking a Parts Supervisor to effectively manage the parts inventory for Select Auto operations in relevant country of operation through best-practice stock management processes, and to provide the interface with walk-in customers and workshop technicians meeting or exceeding their expectations in terms of materiel support.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

Ensure the accuracy of the SAP parts accounting record (inventory) and that it is matched by the physical stock. This includes an accurate financial valuation of the inventory.
Formal receipt of all parts ensuring each consignment is inspected for damage, completeness of order and up loaded into SAP through a Goods Receipt Notice.
Report any discrepancy or damage to consignments and take corrective action.
Issue of all parts through SAP to either service orders or parts sales orders.
Ensure appropriate storage conditions are maintained for all stock and that stock location records are accurately maintained.
Ensure all demands for stock replenishment are submitted in a timely manner to maintain mandated minimum stock levels.
Ensure priority demands for stock meet the end users required delivery date. Where an extended lead-time is reported ensure the customers are fully informed and that full priority progression of the order is maintained with the Procurement cell in Dubai until the demand is fulfilled.
Review stock holding to ensure obsolete or non-moving (no issue within a 6 month period) stock is disposed of in the approved manner.
Any other duty or task as reasonably required

Requirements

To apply for this role you should have the following skills, experiences, knowledge and qualifications:

* Fully conversant with SAP or a similar ERP system
* Diploma or equivalent in stock control/spares management
* High School graduate who is fully numerate
* Good English communication skills both verbal and written
* 6 to 8 years in a related role including 1 year minimum in a supervisory role
* Good technical understanding of auto motive parts
* Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem solving and anticipatory skills, analytical skills, multi-tasking/ time management skills, strong organization skills; capable of operating independently with minimal direction.
* Willingness to deploy to austere and post-conflict environments.
* Must have the ability to build and maintain friendly, warm relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Willingness to go the extra mile, without compromise to the Company's interest or Policy, to satisfy customers both internal and external.
* Ability to work in an adaptable/flexible manner with minimum supervision.
* Acceptance of responsibility and leadership of parts team
