The RoleThe RolePayable Accountant temporary / 3 months Keeping track of LPOs generated thru the system by purchase dept stamping receipt date and Receiving the invoices, stamping date of receipt and logging it in a register. Matching of vendor invoices to purchase orders and provision of feedback to procurement if no purchase order in the system or PO value exceeds or short in relation to the final invoice submitted. Processing of Non PO items in the system ensuring proper approvals as per procedure and policies. Ensuring an authorized signatory list is kept up to date Selection of Payment of adequately approved vendor and subcontractor invoices in accordance with the terms and conditions of purchase Accurately record and pay correctly approved employee expense reports in a timely manner for credit cards if any. Research and analysis of vendor/subcontractor statements to resolve delinquent items and reconciliation of vendor accounts. Monitor employee if any and vendor receivable items and ensure prompt collection Reconcile, resolve reconciling items, and monitor trade AP and inter- company balances. Making out a list of vendor payments on a weekly basis to facilitate weekly payouts to vendors. Making month end accrual for open purchase orders where delivery is made but invoice not booked. |
RequirementsRequirementsMinimum Qualifications Degree/Diploma in Financial Accounting or equivalent is a must. Minimum Experience Minimum 3 - 5 year relevant experience.
