Job description / Role
Our client, a leading IT services company, is looking for a professional and intelligent Payables Controller to join their team here in Dubai.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the cash flow optimization across the business.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Monitoring and maintaining the payable register
- Reviewing payment terms against those agreed with vendors and suppliers
- Analyse the spend against what has been budgeted
- Review and finalise the contract terms especially regarding payments
- Create and prepare monthly forecasts of spend
- Prepare the payments impact on the cash flow on a forward basis
- Assist the Chief Financial Officer in preparing the annual budgets
- Ensure that the employee payments and recoveries are in line with company policy
- Prepare financial summary for payments and other expenses
- Manage relationship with vendors and internal customers
Requirements
- Have a minimum of 4 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Previous experience in reputed organisation
- Business graduate
- Excellent communication skills
- Be a team player
- Have a strong understanding of accounting
- Project accounting knowledge is a plus
