Job description / Role
On behalf of our client a multinational services firm that is based in Dubai we are looking to recruit a Payroll Manager. Reporting to the Accounting Manager you will be responsible for managing a transaction centre of 130 staff with 30 finance staff reporting to you on a daily basis. You will manage global payroll operations using multiple systems. Develops methods and overlooks the preparation of documents and payout of all payroll payments. Organizes the production of payroll payments and provides associated information. Assesses current structure and suggests efficient enhancements to the organization. Under general direction, is accountable for the performance and results of a related discipline or sub-group within a function. Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members. Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible.
Requirements
- The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years senior payroll experience managing a large team, have experience with multi countries payroll not limited to the GCC, UK, US and Canada.
- Working knowledge of Oracle is preferred as the company is currently transitioning to this software.
