The Role


Provides top-class service to our staff by accurately processing payroll transactions and providing prompt personnel service to our staff.
Brings Oracle payroll know-how and payroll best practices to the Alshaya payroll team. Delivers personnel and payroll responsibilities on a day-to-day basis ensuring compliance to company policies and country specific labour laws.
Actively participates in the implementation of Oracle payroll by providing automation and other development requirements to IT Solution developer.
Acts as a trainer or a coach in undertaking one-to-one coaching on to Payroll Officers. Keeps self, aware and abreast with Alshaya compensation and benefits related policies, practices, guidelines and new developments. Escalates non-compliance to the Personnel Manager for advice action.
Ensures all personnel and professional information is regularly updated.
Ensures all personnel and payroll processes are followed as per new procedures and standards with zero error tolerance.
Approves the enrollment of new recruits into in Oracle payroll.
Ensures all Employee personnel and contractual information is regularly updated whenever there is a change.
Validates and ensures all attendances, leave records, overtime and time-in-liew are accurately inputted into Oracle payroll.
Administers the monthly payroll process for a specific country.
As continuously received, checks procedural and labour law accuracy of company actions, and checks payroll team preparation of settlements for leaves and terminations to ensure prompt and accurate processing.

Ensures that employees are enrolled in State/Private Schemes as required, and that monthly deductions are actioned and appropriate payments are made.

Process store incentives through the Oracle system based on store targets and achievements received from Finance and reviewed by Operations.

Processes all Employee deduction centrally within the Oracle payroll system

Requirements


Qualified in Accountancy or Compensation Management
3-5 years in Personnel/ Payroll department of a medium-to-large organization under Oracle Payroll environment.
Experience of working with Oracle Payroll application is a must.
