EXPERIENCE IN HR - TIME SHEETS FOR LABOR AND STAFF - WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR AN ACCOUNTANT - WE NEED AN HR PAYROLL OFFICER WHO CAN PERFORM OTHER HR DUTIES ALSO.
Overall Responsibility:
Under direct supervision of the Finance Manager, the incumbent will performs various complex payroll functions which include processing payroll activities such as (leaves, attendance, settlement, medical, etc.) in compliance with company policies and Qatar labor law.
Key Responsibilities:
Review (timesheet/timecards) calculations and data entry of all relevant information for the monthly payroll processing using payroll system.
Processes payroll related disbursements(mobilization, encashment of annual leave/fares, final settlements, cash advance, other allowances or deductions of contractual or longer term nature, etc).
Ensure that any changes to the payroll data (fixed and/ or variable) are supported by approved documentation and in full compliance with the HR policies & procedures.
Review monthly payroll for accuracy through checking of changes-audit and reconciliation reports between “last month” and “current month”.
Ensure manual and computerized records are accurately maintained and updated regularly in line with data protection.
Prepare monthly payroll reconciliation and various payroll reports.
Deal with employee payroll queries and requests as and when they arise.
Duties as directed by the Finance Manager from time to time.
To ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree of Commerce with at least 5 years experience in payroll.
- Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Microsoft office computer skills.
- Attention to detail and numerical ability.
- Ability to work under stress & strict deadlines.
- Understanding of payroll legislation, processes and labor law.
