Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Payroll officer shall ensure the prompt and precise payment of salaries and other eligible benefits to all NGTs employees in accordance to the policies of the Company & labor law.
- Perform full and accurate preparation of monthly payroll including overtime, salary adjustments/deductions in accordance to company policy, calculation of the Annual leave & indemnities.
- Coordinate activities of employees by processing attendance records, compiling payroll statistics, maintaining payroll control records and calculating payrolls
- Maintain and update payroll system with any deduction, salary increment, transfer, exit employees, promotion, new hires.
- Review & update the pay rates of all staff in payroll register/computer files while computing salary/benefits.
- Direct compilation and preparation of other payroll data such as overtime, incentives, medical costs, social insurance, deductions etc.
- Maintain up to date status of leaves for all employees and timely report before leaves exceed the maximum approved limit in order to ensure the non-accumulation of leave more than the approved limited years
- Verify and process all leave applications after ensuring availability of leaves and prepare leave salary and forward for management approval
- Monitor & report to management for unauthorized absence, tardiness, leave etc. for further disciplinary actions
- Coordinate & follow up all the replacement, transfer action & advice entitlement & grading.
- Interpret company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures
- Coordinate with insurance organization for life and medical insurance policies and follow up on claims.

Requirements

- University degree in the field of Business Administration/Accounting from a reputable university or an equivalent degree in HRM is a plus
- Broad knowledge of HR procedures, processes & systems
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in HR/Payroll
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast moving environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent Team Player
- Excellent analytical skills and well organized
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent English language skills
