The RoleThe RoleThis role is responsible for: - Monitoring of operations with the objective to identify, report and put right non-compliance with pre-set business rules, procedures and processes for Permanent & Temporary Business Rules.Monitoring of data quality in our systems and reporting anomalies to CS department for Data Cleaning; - Measuring Performance as per pre-assigned budgets and reporting results on a regular basis to all concerned. Developing Data Mining models that assist in the above tasks as well as in forecasting, trend analyses and pattern identification. - The role is also responsible for fulfilling, when necessary, Business Analysis, Planning and Quality Control Analyst responsibilities. It reports to the Performance Monitoring & Data Mining Supervisor (PMDM Supervisor). - Assessing Orbit staff member performance by analysing internally and externally pre-defined performance metrics. Recommending changes to user procedures, “how to” guides, system code and parameter set-up, and staffing levels to improve Orbit's provision of customer service, especially staff member performance. - Identifying and recommending staff members requiring training to improve their performance. Monitoring the degree of performance vs plan of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for: Standard DTH, IF, Premium Cable as well as Non-Standard RF Residential and Hotels. - Providing Forecasts, Trend Analyses and identification of Patterns to Marketing & Distribution. Offering unbiased and impartial recommendations to improve Orbit’s provision of customer service, including recommending disciplinary actions in response to chronic staff performance problems. - Liaising with the Business Analyst and with the Business Process & Procedure teams regarding recommended actions/solutions for improving Orbit’s provision of customer service. Liaising closely with staff members in Head Office and regional offices. PM Team member training when required. |
RequirementsRequirements•Close attention to details. Good organisational and analytical skills; •Ability to work under pressure; Strong deadline orientation. Team player. Extensive knowledge of all areas of the SMS functionality; •Working knowledge of BI & Data Mining Techniques and how they serve the business. Very Good understanding of all Orbit business policies and how they relate to procedures. Very Good knowledge of the customer service organisation and related procedures; •Excellent command of written and spoken English. |
