Employment: Full Time

Objectives:
To provide Extra-Corporeal Life Support Technology services to the Heart Centre, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre

Main responsibilities:
- Provides perfusion services to the KFSH&RC Cardiovascular Surgical Program
- Provides cardiopulmonary bypass care to the open-heart surgery patients
- Provides intra-aortic balloon counter pulsation support technology to medical and surgical patients
- Provides persuion services upport to the Liver Transplant and other designated programs of KFSH&RC
- Collects and organizes patient care date including patient outcomes relevant to perfusion services

Reporting to: Manager, Perfusion Services
Number required: 7
Duration: 1- 2 year/s contract
Desired start date: ASAP
Probation: 90 days
Working Hours: 9 hours
Gross monthly base salary: 7,000 - 12,000 SAR (tax-free)
Other Benefits: Housing & Transportation Allowances; 54 Days of Annual Leave and Free Round Trip Ticket per contract year

Requirements

- University Qualifications: Bacher Degree of Science plus a graduate of a Perfusion Program
- Other certifications obtained: American Board Certified or eligible
- Nature and length of previous experience: Three (3) years experience as a clinical perfusionist or under the discretion of the Manager of Perfusion and Director of Heart Centre
- Specialist knowledge: Must be familiar with infant and adult clinical perfusion, blood salvaging techniques and mechanical assist devices
