Permitting Manager - Qatar
Project / business overview
Halcrow requires a Qatar Civil Defence (QCD) permitting officer for submissions on various building and infra structure projects in Qatar .
Key role objective
The purpose of this role is to assist project managers with the administration QCD submission in terms of DC1 and DC2 approvals and or active and passive inspection report.
Key areas of responsibility
The priorities of this role include:
Compiling submissions from all disciplines
Electronic uploads
Dissemination of any comments made by QCD to the appropriate department
Physical documents to be submitted to QCD for final signing

Key requirements
The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge. These points should align with the key areas of responsibility:
To be highly organised with multiple submissions
Fluent in Arabic and English
A pragmatic attitude to resolution of problems
Team player and strong inter-discipline skills
Able to build relationships with QCD
Minimum qualifications
Minimum secondary education with previous experience in Qatar
Must have Qatar driving licence
