Employment: Full Time

My client is a leading business consulting firm specializing the construction industry. They have built their expertise in projects big and small, technical and strategic, across the world for leading client organizations. A mobile, international workforce comprised of 22,000 professionals in 70 countries. On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly experienced and effective Executive Assistant. The role reports in to two Managing Directors and interacts with a third Director on a regular basis. Planning and coordinating meetings and appointments, booking travel and maintaining personal accounts, as well as dealing with telephone and email correspondence for the Directors will be day to day duties.

The role includes office management and a degree of HR, which involves:
- Designing and implementing office policies.
- Liaising with agencies on the companies behalf and updating all correspondences.
- Supervising office administration staff.
- Maintaining general office equipment and inventory.
- Devising job descriptions for staff and interviewing candidates.
- Assisting in the selection and appraisals of support staff.

The role is varied and will offer good working experience enabling the successful candidate to get involved with the Event Organization and Marketing aspects of the company, Investor relations and arranging company Board meetings in accordance with the articles of the company.

Requirements

This role requires a candidate who can demonstrate the ability to prioritize and multitask projects, when under pressure and who is able to offer quick and efficient solutions if problems arise.

The ideal candidate will possess good people management skills and will be a self-starter, someone who is flexible with work timings and keeps a professional, calm persona throughout busy work schedules.

The successful applicant will be able to manage the relationships and workloads of the three Directors efficiently, coming up with ideas and suggestions to assist them. The role encompasses working independently 90% of the time hence the need to stay focused, demonstrate responsibility and effective communication is paramount.

Candidates must possess excellent communication skills in English and Arabic. At least three years experience as a Personal / Executive Assistant is essential with a very good working knowledge of MS Office packages.
