The Role

Minimum Qualification

Minimum 10 years experience in the film extrusion industry and R&D activities and HDPE single and mutle-layers normal and corrugated pipe for potable water, sewerage and gas transport with through understanding of the entire polyolefin pipe value chain from manufacturing to installation of pipeline . Graduate with MSc, PhD in polymer science, materials science or polymer engineering, chemistry or related discipline

Job Profile (responsibilities)

Development of new pipes. Providing technical support to internal and external customers.

Required Skills and Competencies

Must have the expert level of knowledge about:

• Pipe extrusion including classification and design.
• Product and process development methodology.
• Pipe manufacturing processes including extrusion, process condition setting, optimization and trouble shooting for the related areas.
• Characterization of material properties including mechanical, rheological, structural, and thermal properties.
• Pipe material compounding, additives, stabilizers, antioxidants, fillers, stabilizers modifiers etc….
• Long term performance evaluation and qualification of pipe extrusion articles for various applications.
• Pipe applications including butt and electrofusion.
