The RoleThe RoleAbout the Project: This project covers installation of more than 350 km of polyethylene-lined pipes to connect residential and commercial properties to the national gas grid, plus about 2,500 residential gas meters, the conversion of the existing bottled gas networks to natural gas, and construction of primary and secondary pressure-reduction stations. Our client, part of the largest EPC groups in the world has the PMC contract for this project. They are looking for a dynamic electrical design engineer to come on board. |
RequirementsRequirementsB.S. or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university with minimum ten (10) years relevant experience mainly in Natural gas PE (Polyethylene) networks and pipeline related projects engineering and system design including distribution of utilities such as CNG / LPG through pipeline networks, CNG filling stations, etc. Must have at least three (3) years of experience in similar position for major projects of similar nature including minimum two (2) years in PMC-CONSULTANT’s organisation. Besides extensive expertise in pipeline design and engineering, familiarity in pipeline materials application and stress engineering is essential. Must be fully knowledgeable about codes, standards and recommended practices for this discipline. Experience with Consultant or owner organisation in the execution of similar projects is a must. Such participation in projects in Middle East is beneficial. Should be aware of relevant codes and standards for City Gas PE (Polyethylene) Networks Engineering and Design. Should be a member of an appropriate and relevant Professional Institute. Should be IT literate, with experience in MS Office applications. Should be fluent in English. |
