The RoleThe Role– Advise Package Manager for overseeing detailed Design of EPC contractor meet project milestones – Monitoring contractors design, procurement and construction to ensure selection and timely delivery of the best technical/economical solutions for M&P systems – Monitoring contractors to ensure the overall design, integrity and compliance with international standards, company guidelines and engineering best practices – Monitoring contractors input to ensure incorporation and application of Operational HSEQ and VAR procedures into the design – Involvement in Engineering reviews with co-ordination of field input – Development and delivery in association with the contractor(s) of field engineering related procedures – Development of interface procedures with Contractors/Field for all Project facilities – Review/audit schedule and supporting procedure(s) – Attendance at Factory Acceptance tests (FAT) – Input to FAT scopes in association with the Contractor(s) and Transition Manager. – Support on engineering input for early construction scope with development of appropriate contract input to support execution – Involvement in Construction risk assessment reviews – Attendance at Consolidated punch-list team meetings and walk through activities. – Input to Change orders in respective of engineering input and assessment. – Assistance in the closure of all punch-list activities and non-conformities remaining from the mechanical completion scope. – Knowledge transfer to National personnel in accordance with the Project Plan. |
RequirementsRequirements– Engineering degree or equivalent and Registered Chartered or Incorporated Engineer in Mechanical Discipline.\ - A minimum of 20 years of diversified experience as an engineering role associated with Oil/Gas Industries. - The experience should cover operations and maintenance for 5 years minimum. - Projects from Feed to Completion. - The engineer must possess both Design and Field implementation experience. – Specialist Education: Minimum BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. – Supports and technologies: Standard ISO, TQM and Quality system, Technical requirement and Standards, Local/National requirements and standards – Compliance: Local/National and International Standard and Codes, Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, – Plant Design: Discipline related mechanical, piping and vessels – Construction & Installation: Inspection, Installation , National Supervision, Inspection, control and testing techniques. – Operations and Maintenance: Solved field problems for operating plants. – Material Engineering: Have adequate knowledge in material selection, developing or revising piping classes – Language: possesses written and verbal communication in English. – Stress Analysis: Capable and knowledgeable in piping flexibility analysis using computer software (particularly CAESAR-II). Specific Personal Qualities: – Problem Solving – Flexibility - Change management – Planning target control – Decision Making - Relations management – Must be physically fit Saudi Nationals or Transferrable Iqama holders preferred. |
