Job description / Role
- Analyzing piping systems including both process and utility systems
- Specifying location and type of required pipe supports for piping systems
- Applying route changes if it is required
- Loop study and preparing calculation tables and related documents
Requirements
- Minimum 6 year experience in piping stress engineering with 4 year experience in oil & gas industrial
- Proficient knowledge of the Caesar II software program, including specific application of static and dynamic analysis for seismic load conditions.
- A background / knowledge in piping detail design work and piping design procedures
- Familiar with international industrial code and standard
- Experience in piping engineering including pipe wall thickness calculations, branch connection reinforcement check and equipment nozzle load calculations
- Experience in pipe stress and pipe flexibility analysis
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience in pipe support detail design
- Experienced user of Cad Design Software (Acad) and Microsoft Office
