Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

My client is a large national build consultancy with focus on major construction builds. Due to continued growth they are now looking to hire an experienced Planner to work specifically in the Middle East.

Based out of their Dubai office, the Senior Planner will be required to provide planning support at tender and delivery phases on large construction developments across the education, commercial, residential and leisure sectors of construction.

We are looking for a positive, proactive and confident attitude together with the ability to analyse data, working both as an individual and as part of a team. Applicants must be able to demonstrate skills working on major construction projects up to at least 20m.

Duties will include:

Preparation of Tender and Construction Programmes
Producing contract programmes and reports as required by client and internal stakeholders
Resource & Cost Loading of these Programmes.
Application of Project and Activity Codings to enable production of "Construction Friendly" programmes and reports.
Production of Cash Flow Forecasts
Production of Outline Method Statements for submission with Tenders.
Periodic updating of programmes.
Recording and impacting into programs, Compensation Events, Early Warnings etc.
Production of monthly progress reports.
Work closely with project commercial team in producing financial reports and valuations

Requirements

In order to be considered for this role applicants MUST meet the following criteria;

You will have an Degree within Civil Engineering
Experience using Primavera Planning Software
Proven experience delivering projects in the build sectors.
At least five years experience in a Planning role

Forensic Analysis
Delay Analysis
