Job description / Role

Planner - Dubai, UAE

- Establish the planning system, procedures and processes used to control and report the project.
- Coordinate and contribute to all aspects of project planning and programme development for the project.
- Work with contractors to establish their part of the project programme and develops total project programme based on contractors work and Company work.
- Establishes programmes for options and potential changes.
- Use planning systems and tools to track and integrate all parts of the project.
- Assure accuracy and timeliness of programming data.
- Provide programme variance analysis.
- Develop work-around programmes and project options programmes.
- Advise project management concerning the impact of potential changes.
- Monitor contractor actual progress versus planned progress.
- Report directly to CH2M Resident Engineer.Liaison with the contractor on all construction related matters.

Requirements

- Relevant Engineering Degree
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience in buildings construction in the UAE on complex projects
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 software
