Planner

Job description / Role

- Prepare the Contract Baseline Schedule and revise the schedules
- Control of Planning & Scheduling, Progress Measurement and Reporting.
- Liaise with the various project teams in order to maintain proper progress recording monitoring of the project schedule.
- Assist in the preparation of claims & extension of time.
- Preparing weekly/monthly reports and budget preparation whilst maintaining full project planning records.
- Participate in periodic site meetings to elaborate the project's schedule and the progress status.
- Recording any suggested changes and deviations from the plan and to advise any effects on the overall schedule

Requirements

- Hold a degree in a relevant technical engineering discipline from a recognised university.
- Have an established background working as a Planning Engineer for an international Project - Management Company.
- Have prior experience working on high rise towers/hotels.
- Have prior experience and knowledge with relevant technical planning programs (Primavera, Microsoft Project, Excel etc).
- Have excellent communication, organisation, negotiation and management skills.
- Have 10 years experience including experience in the UAE.
