Planning Analyst

Job description / Role

Salary up to 22500 aed + bonus + standard benefits.
This role is responsible for performing economic, financial and management control activities, ensuring the elaboration of reports and specific analysis to contribute to the decision making process of management.

Responsibilities

• To analyse the profitability of specific operations assisting different business units of the company in executing the appropriate actions to optimise the operation and increase the profitability of the business.
• To analyse and create improvement proposals, monitor execution milestones and identify key issues.
• Supervise all economic financial planning activities throughout the Middle East.
• Issue reports with the objective to provide reliable information to the top management.
• Assess and consolidate economic and financial projections during the budget period.
• Support different business units in the analysis of new business opportunities by carrying out economic and financial appraisals.

Requirements

• Native Arabic speaker
• Knowledge of project management, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting
• Background in Industrial manufacturing preferred or Oil & Gas, Construction & Engineering
• Engineering degree preferred
• 2 – 4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Presentation skills and team work
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
• SAP preferred but not essential
