Employment: Full Time

A large complex project set at $2,960 million, covering all construction and utilities. This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of this landmark project.

Planning Engineer Delay Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Delay Analyst will:
- Report to Claims Manager.
- Assist the Claims Manager (CM) and lead delay analyst in the Time Impact Analysis team to establish cause and effect of delays to Main Contract programme;
- Identify and investigate critical and non-critical delaying and / or disruptive events affecting the Main Contract.
- Liaise with Subcontract Administration, Engineering, Construction and Planning Departments to determine early warning of possible delaying events.
- Attend whatever meetings required to understand delay cause and effect.
- Liaise with Subcontract Administration, Engineering, Construction and Planning departments to obtain necessary history, facts and planned mitigation measures for delaying events.
- Coordinate with other departments including Contractors BIM, Procurement, Subcontract, HR Administration, Engineering, Construction, Planning and Commercial Departments to gather data, facts, programmes, etc., as necessary to ensure the effective pursuit and administration of all time related claims under the Contract.
- Liaise with the CM and / or TIA team leader to compile delay fragnets for incorporation into extension of time submissions.
- Assist in delay narrative compilation to substantiate delay highlighted by delay fragnets.

Requirements

Profile:

- Western Educated
- Excellent English skills
- Expert Primavera user
- Proven track record in analyzing Employer and subcontractor delays
- Competent letter and claims narrative writer
- A highly experienced delay analyst able to work with high level of autonomy
- Able to work within a team of delay analysts and claims writers
- Team player
- Able to communicate and integrate in a multidisciplinary, multicultural and multinational environment

Qualifications and Experience:

- Engineering, Planning or business related field qualification;
- Detailed understanding of time impact analysis (TIA) method of delay analysis;
- A minimum of 10 years experience in the analysis of delay claims on major building projects required.

Specific skills required:

- Excellent English oral and written communication skills are essential;
- Proven track record in analyzing Employer and subcontractor delays, disruption and acceleration claims recognition, programme assessment, monitoring and evaluation on major building projects;
- Major building project site based experience essential
