We are presently recruiting talented individuals to fill our current vacancy for Planning Engineer to work on our projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Liaise with the Contractor to verify the logic of the Contractor's programme meets with the project intent.
* Provide advice to the SRE and Senior Quantity Surveyor on time scales for variations and claims.
* Liaise with the Design Office to advise the Head Office Senior Planning Engineer on any impacts on future works.
* Prepare, with the SRE, monthly progress reports.
* Assist the SRE with Planning on Staff resources
* Maintain a database on productivity rates for all schemes
* Responsible for advice on all programming matters

Requirements

* B.Sc Degree in Engineering
* 8-10 years Project Management experience in planning, scheduling, cost engineering with Expert level
* Knowledge and experience using Primavera (version P6 essential. P8 advantageous)
* Middle East experience
* Strong Transport sector experience
* Ability to follow verbal and or written instructions
* Ability to work under stress and handle stressful situations and meet deadlines
* Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with co-workers and stakeholders
* Excellent spoken and written command of English including Technical writing is critical to this role
* Sound experience of implement, monitoring and maintaining Earned Value across Design elements of P6 Programmes within Transport
