Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Assume responsibility and represent the design department in the review and integration of the schedule into ASHGHALs database and will guide the Consultants in preparation of the schedule to be compatible with the integration requirements.
- Reviewing consultants work program submissions including all narratives and supporting information and provides analysis and findings.
- Verifying actual progress and comparing actual performances to original plans.
- Monitoring, adjusting and updating the cost plan and cash flows accordingly and the consolidating of these in Consultant monthly reports.
- Estimating time element of change orders and submits his analysis to the Engineer and incorporating within the master schedule after authorization.
- Evaluating contractors Extension of Time requests and preparing recommendations to the Engineer.
- Liaise with utilities providers and other stake holders.
- Performance of other related duties as per management instructions.

Requirements

- BSc or equivalent degree in a relevant engineering discipline with certification in planning and scheduling of projects and cost engineering.
- 10 years of demonstrable experience in dealing with major highway or drainage infrastructure projects including construction as applicable to the nature of the works.
- An internationally recognized accredited University degree accepted by CEng, PE or PEng membership organization as a qualifying/exempting academic university degree qualification; and
- Chartered/Professional engineer status.
- Proof of current membership or registration in one of the following national professional engineering organizations is acceptable to the Authority as meeting the requirements of chartered/professional engineer status:
