Job description / Role
Planning Engineer - Roads & Infrastructure
- Prepares and maintains schedule for all the projects.
- Provides feedback to Management regarding staffing requirements based on project schedules and loading.
- Assists the Project Manager in the preparation of Project Management Plan.
- Tracks progress, manhours and cost as compared to schedule.
- Reports to clients and management as required.
- Advises Project Manager of adverse schedule, manhour and cost variation, if any.
- Advises Project Manager of necessity of overtime to meet project milestones.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 6 - 10 years relevant experience in roads and infrastructure projects.
- 2 - 3 years relevant planning experience in an engineering consulting firm in Middle East.
- Hands on experience using Primavera P6, and doing Delay Analysis Reports.
