The RoleThe RoleReporting to the Programme Manager, sharing the scheduling matters of six separate but associated contracts with two other Senior Planning Engineers. Reviewing and approving the contractor’s programme of works, ensuring that it is in accordance with the contract. Reviewing the contractor progress and ensuring that the programme is updated on a regular basis. Reporting all scheduling issues to the Project Manager. Liaising with the Resident Engineers to determine progress and reasons for any lapses in progress and reporting to the Programme Manager current progress and issues affecting progress. Projecting completion dates based on current progress, advising on the effect of any progress remedial measures. |
RequirementsRequirementsDegree in Civil Engineering with Planning credentials minimum of 10 years site experience preferably on STP / Sewerage projects in the Gulf region. Familiar with QA/QC and QS procedures. Excellent planning skills, thoroughly conversant with Primavera P6. Candidates having a valid Gulf driving license would be a benefit. Excellent written and oral communications skills in English. |
