Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Review, ascertain, evaluate and study the Planning Requirements issued by the Contractors, Clients to ensure that the plan & logic of Construction Programme are consistent with Clients, Contractors scope of works.
- Prepare and monitor Baseline Schedules to ensure that project activities are in line with the agreed construction programme.
- Plan, implement, establish and monitor suitable monitoring tools in order to compare actual performance vs planned performance which enable necessary corrective actions
- Coordinate and correlate with the site team and maintain continuous communication to ensure that the site team comprehends the programme requirements and necessary actions are implemented and progressed
- Generate and monitor Man Power Histogram, S-curve, KPI, Cash Flows, Weekly and Monthly reports to ensure that project planning requirements are fulfilled
- Review, study and evaluate the changes to contract works and revise the construction programme to ensure that the consequent entitlements are secured
- Contribute to evaluate and prepare time related construction claims so that such claims are accurately composed and contractually viable
- Develop and prepare regular reports on the project progress.
- Preparation, submission and negotiation of all types of Construction Claims such as Extension of Time, Prolongation Costs, Delay Claims, Suspension Claims, Liquidated Damages etc
- Closely monitor the contractual obligations of the assignments and adopt practical methods to guide the project execution teams to secure the contractual entitlements
- Analyze and monitor all contractual circumstance of every aspect of the projects from tender to completion so that the obligations are completed and entitlements are secured
- Identify the construction disputes and adopt suitable resolution methods
- Develop and prepare regular reports on the status of contracts
- Create and maintain proper database for the contract management system and manage all related documents, correspondences and reports
- Prepare, review, evaluate, submit and negotiate variations, progress payments as well as all forms construction claims to ensure that the companys contractual & commercial benefits are secured
- Plan and implement necessary tools to monitor and evaluate project financial statuses in order to facilitate the achievement of projects commercial objectives
- Prepare, advise, control and coordinate the necessary reports and tools as required by the Management in order to review the commercial position of the project at any given time

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering from a recognized University in the discipline of Mechanical or Electrical or equivalent professional qualification
- 8-10 years of overall experience in the same discipline. Should have hands on experience.
- Certified Primavera (P6) professional
