Planning Engineer

Job description / Role

- Generating milestones in the pre-construction stage for inclusion in tender documents via detailed discussions with the Design Manager, Design Team, and other participants.
- Monitoring, adjusting and updating the cost plan and cash flows and the consolidation of these results in weekly reports.
- Reviewing in conjunction with the Project Managers or Construction Managers any potential changes, and in turn measuring where possible future saving or additional costs can be identified.
- Reviewing and approving contractors work program submissions.

Requirements

- Civil Engineering degree holder from accredited university.
- At least 8 years, for Planner, and 10 years, for Senior Planner, of specialist Planning & Scheduling experience on large projects with specific experience using Primavera Expedition / Contract Manager and P6 software.
- Experience in both pre-construction (design / tender stage) & construction stages.
- Overseeing actual project progress versus the planned work milestones.
