Job description / Role
They are looking for a senior Planning Manager with experience of leading multiple projects internationally. The existing team in Doha, Qatar requires a strong leader to modernise the work process and to mentor and lead an existing planning team.
You will be tasked with leading the team responsible for planning and preparing project construction schedules both pre and post award. You will also be required to visit a range of site locations in order to fulfil your role.
Requirements
The client is expecting to see the following key competences.
- Degree in Civil engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in building construction. Experience of international infrastructure projects is essential.
- Experience in construction management, planning and scheduling gained from international projects.
- Knowledge in construction, execution, site logistics, work flow and implementation.
- Exposure to architectural design planning.
- Hands on experience with Primavera and MS Project software.
- Excellent leadership qualities and communication skills in English.
- A modern way of approaching planning for major projects gained from recent experience with a major blue chip contractor.
