Millar Cameron is an international recruitment consultancy specialising in the field of forestry and agriculture. We are currently representing an international forestry company and are helping them in their search for a Planning Manager to be based in East Africa.

This is a great opportunity for a planning professional to join an industrial planting company and gain experience in a multinational planning operation and being a driving force behind the companys research projects.

The new Planning Manager will be responsible for:

All the forestry planning for East Africa.
Managing the IT data imported into the companys software programmes.
Produce meaningful reports and present these to senior management at timely intervals.
Conducting regular BAV calculations, growth modelling and yield predictions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a background of:

A forestry qualification specializing in forestry management.
Experience with MicroForest, ArcGIS, Trimble or similar programmes.
More than 2 years of experience in a forestry planning department as manager.
A post-grad forestry qualification would be desired.
