Planning Manager
Qatar, Doha

Our client is a leading Local based Construction Civils Contractor based in Qatar who have rapidly and continually grown over the last 15 years in the Middle East market. With over 800 staff and 2000 work force in Qatar alone, they are fast becoming a dominant contractor capable of winning large and prestigious packages of work.

Currently our client has over 1.4bn QR worth of work secured in Qatar this year and due to a recent 450m QR project win, our client is looking to recruit for a Planning Manager who has good Civils experience in Middle East.

Remuneration:
- Circa 40,000 QR per month all inclusive package dependent on experience
- 30 Calendar days holiday
- 3 days discretionary holiday from company
- Yearly bonus based on performance
- Medical for family up to 3 children

Requirements

Requirements:
University Degree (Minimum of 4 years) in Engineering (Architect, Civil)
Certification in Programming Schedule Professional (PSP) or Project Management Institute ¡V Scheduling Professional (PMI ¡V SP)

Minimum of 12 years site/relevant position

Visionary, competent and confident, strategy & planning, decision making, leadership, risk management, team work, proactive and professional development.

Good knowledge in common contract conditions format (FIDIC, JCT, Government etc), PMP Certification, Computer skills ¡V Primavera Project Planner & Enterprise (Ver ¡V 3.1 & 6.0), communications skills in English language (read, write and speak) and management skills.

- All positions must be of British, Indian, Filipino, Arabic, Malaysian or Sri Lankan nationality due to Visa
- All candidates must have worked in a Civils background
- Minimum 8 year Quantity Surveying Experience
- Structures experience would be preferential
- Happy to work a 6 day week if needed
