We are currently looking for an experienced Planning Manager for one of our prestigious projects in KSA. The successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with operational management team members and planning and scheduling professionals. The person will be responsible to develop and maintain construction processes and programs, at both strategic and tactical levels. This position will be reporting to Project Director.

Job responsibilities include:

1. Organize to establish start and end date, commensurate with contractual clauses and prepare Construction Programs and Cash Flow accordingly.
2. Organize to coordinate with field engineers to record actual progress of each component of work and submit factual status to the management.
3. Organize to highlight items or components on critical path, and prepare and submit factual status to the management.
4. Organize to prepare Construction Programs and Cash Flow for submission and approval by clients and consultants, with prior approval by the management.
5. Organize to prepare Revised Construction Programs and Cash Flow for submission and approval by clients and consultants, with prior approval by the management.
6. Organize to prepare Crash Programs and Recovery Programs for approval by clients and consultants, with prior approval by the management.
7. Organize to pre-warn Operations Team and management for requirement of extension of time.
8. Organize to coordinate with the Operations Team for recording and updation of factual progress achieved.
9. Organize to attend site meetings, where required, to record status of progress, delays (if any), suggestions for recovery and resource mobilization.
10. Organize to confidentially apprise management about anticipated delays on any component of the project, requiring special attention.
11. Organize to play a pro-active role in internal coordination meetings in preparing a professional Construction Program and Cash Flow of each project.
12. Organize to coordinate with all concerned inter-departments including Contracts Department, Design Department, Technical Coordination Department, Purchase Department and others for proper coordination.
13. Organize to keep abreast with latest rules, regulations, laws, by-laws and/or notifications issued by statutory authorities.

Requirements

Who we are looking for:

1. Minimum 10 years of diversified engineering experience.
2. Bachelor degree in engineering curriculum from a recognized college or university.
3. Experience in different types of building projects (High rise buildings, infrastructure,
Medical etc.)
4. Deep understanding for the related software (Primavera P6, Microsoft project, BIMM Package, Microsoft Office and other planning related software.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
