RequirementsRequirementsThe proven performers we seek for these newly created role will be responsible for the overall planning management and coordination of the full project. One candidate will manage a team of Senior Planners and Planners and responsibilities will include coordination with other multi disciplined professional team members; submission and tracking of planning approvals; programming and assessment of delays and disputes; client liaison and the general planning of the project. The other candidate will review and approve contractors work programs and submissions; advising and assisting the contractor in the development of work programs; recording and reporting the actual progress of work versus planned work; and participating in technical tender evaluations. You will be commercially astute with a relevant degree qualification and at least 7-10 years experience in the project planning and project administration field. Exposure to large commercial contractors on large building and infrastructure projects is essential; Expatriate experience in the Middle East / GCC region would be highly regarded. Ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records and generate reports is essential.
