Job description / Role
Preparation of project schedule, analysis and reporting effort for the project.
Responsible for the integrated engineering, procurement, construction and startup schedules.
Responsible for understanding the complete project scope, project schedule objectives and developing and maintaining a plan and schedule to accomplish the same.
Responsible for detailed execution schedules, resource utilization plans and progress tracking system.
Responsible for planning and coordinating schedule interfaces with client, vendors and subcontractors.
Continually monitors critical path and prepares schedule impact reports for the management.
Responsible for schedules, manpower, quantities, progress and performance reporting.
Proactively assess progress, completion forecasts and provides solutions to mitigate schedule delays or optimize project completion.
Evaluates project progress against historical indicators and provide management with comparative analysis.
Prepare material requirement schedule for submission to purchase and subsequently follow-up for procurement.
Coordinate for timely supply manpower, material and equipment at site to suit work progress.
Anticipate problem areas and initiate preventive or alternate actions to avoid delays.
Monitor day to day progress and consumption of material in case of BOT projects.
Highlight issues to all concerned before they become critical.
Coordinate with all departments for communicating project requirements/concerns in a timely manner.
Follow up with QS for taking measurements billing.
Coordinating and ensuring weekly/monthly reviews with manager and maintaining records of reviews.
Train new employees as per project management systems.
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
Must have a degree in engineering preferably electrical/mechanical.
Professional Qualification:
Must have diploma/certificates about in MEP projects, should have attended seminar/concern lectures.
Experience:
Must be at least 10 to 12 years minimum experience and worked as planning and scheduling engineer in multination company in major projects. Experience certificates from the old and current employer are needed.
