Job description / Role
Our company is bidding on a proposal in Afghanistan and seeking candidates who would be interested in this opportunity. Services for this contract include the provision of scheduled and unscheduled Operations & Maintenance of various facilities and infrastructure at various locations throughout Afghanistan.
The Plant Manager will be a detail oriented individual that is able to strategically plan and meet deadlines. The role will include overseeing the operation and maintenance of a power plant rated at over 50MW.
Requirements
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in managing power generation projects.
With at least years 2 experience being in a conflict environment.
With proven experience with recognizable international GENSET manufacturers such as Caterpillar and Cummins GENSET along with the surrounding infrastructure.
Successfully managed teams of technicians and operated in within conflict areas.
Bachelors degree from an accredited school in engineering, project management, business or related field or equivalent.
Must have excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
