Select Auto is an Al-Futtaim Automotive Company, providing premium solutions including sales, leasing & maintenance of heavy equipment, vehicles and power generation, to a variety of clients in austere locations. As the single point of contact for customers in these regions, Select will operate also act as an internal customer for the other automotive group companies.We are currently looking for an experience Plant Supervisor who will be required to monitor their equipment operations through the daily field operations. Monitoring responsibilities will include equipment inspection, safety, operational activities, operator PPE, and general oversight of the equipment operators.
Site Supervisors will report to the Contract Representative and will work closely with the HSE Site Safety Manager and the Fleet Manager for tasking and operation.
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
* Site Supervisors will be required to monitor their allocated equipment operations through the daily field operations. Monitoring responsibilities will include equipment inspection, safety, operational activities, operator PPE, and general oversight of the equipment operators.
* Attend the crew daily toolbox safety meeting every morning and track Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for daily operations.
* Be in constant communication with the Client's Equipment Coordinator daily through the Contract Representative.
* Developing a good working relationship with the Client.
* Developing a good working relationship with the Southern Iraq Maintenance Facility.
* Management of on and off site incidents affecting the contract.
* Others tasks, duties or special projects as directed.
Requirements
To apply for this role you should have the following skills, experiences, knowledge and qualifications:
* Must be bi-lingual in Arabic and English.
* Must be qualified to operate heavy plant and equipment.
* Must have 5 - 10 years' experience in heavy plant and equipment operation in construction, 5 years in the Oil & Gas Industry and 3-5 years in supervisory positions.
* Must have supervisory experience.
* Must have good verbal English skills.
* Must displays Integrity and Initiative.
* Must have strong work ethic.
* Must be driven to achieve excellence in the face of demanding circumstances.
