Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This is an excellent opportunity join an expanding organization during a period of change and growth. Ideally you will have general experience with handling and specific hands-on experience with plating processes and related chemical handling/analyses. This position will be part of the company’s manufacturing team and will provide process execution for daily, routine plating and chemistry related processes as directed and planned by the manager.

Required Skills:
•Setup, operate and maintain electroplating equipment.
•Safe chemicals handling - Must be willing and able to handle and work with acidic and caustic chemicals while maintaining strict compliance with required PPE and safety procedures at all times.
•Knowledge for electro plating ( Zinc, Cr, Nil) for various design of anchor bolts, U bolts, nuts, washer & screw etc to perform in a variety of application in the building, construction and allied environments is preferable.
•Use of basic chemical analytical tools, basic mathematics, use of Microsoft office applications esp. excel and word.
•Documentation rigor: Must maintain detailed required daily log.
•Inventory management: Manage plating materials (chemicals, supplies, glassware and analytical tools, etc.) inventory to assure no lapses in availability of critical materials.
•Daily activities will include Execution of daily plating process workload, Practical plating process problem analysis and problem solving and an ability to carefully follow instructions with attention to detail.

Requirements

Skills and Education

Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering and a minimum of 2 years hands-on plating and related chemical analyses experience are essential. You must be well organized and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.Must be aware and execute of required equipment maintenance procedures and maintain good housekeeping in plating and analytical lab.

You will be eager to learn and acquire new skills. Good verbal and written communication skill – proficient with Microsoft office applications (esp. - Outlook, Excel, Word) are also important; this is an English speaking role but Arabic would be useful.
