Employment: Full Time

Our client, a commercial aviation business located within the UAE is looking to hire a Policy Manager.

You will act as an internal expert across corporate and international policies. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining as well as communicating and interpreting HR policies and procedures across the business. You will ensure alignment has been made with HR best practice, that these practices are compliant within legislative requirements. You will also guarantee fairness and equality has been given in decision making. This role will take responsibility of employment contracts and global working conditions and will include term sheets and employee handbooks. Main accountabilities of the role will be to define and implement processes to key stakeholders, conducting policy benchmarking studies, building and maintaining local and global networks within aviation related industries. You will develop and maintain a policy system, framework and format to track and manage policy documentation. You will also contribute to the coaching and development of expertise on policies.

Requirements

The successful candidate should hold a Degree with an acquired specialisation in Human Resources, including policy design and implementation. You should be able to demonstrate a wealth of knowledge within policy and employment contract specialisms over the last seven years and ideally have previous aviation or large multinational organisation experience.
An understanding of international labour laws with a strong focus on the UAE and Middle East is imperative along with expertise in technical policies and contracts, project management and benchmarking.

Preference will be given to UAE Nationals however our client will also consider Western educated candidates.
