Job Description

The key objective of this role is to monitor the health of the assigned portfolios in Retail Lending; in terms of external as well as internal indicators, performance trends at segmental level, key hot spots, risks and opportunities.

Based on the above, the person will be required to assist in risk decision making, recommending pro-active measures to optimize the risk reward tradeoff.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

* Assist the Policy Managers in ensuring that the shape and quality of Retail Lending Portfolio is in line with bank's strategy.
* Provide Data / Analytical support to the stakeholders, in ensuring this supports the right decisions making, as well as rigorous monitoring of all portfolio parameters.
* Drive analysis in partnership with policy managers to help making the decisions in line with the bank's Risk Appetite and target portfolio.
* Help translate bank's policies into right underwriting standards and ensure that the end-to-end customer lifecycle performance (from underwriting through to collections and recoveries) is in line with expectations.
* Monitor the health of the portfolio in terms of both long term vintage performance and loss forecasting.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

* Excellent knowledge of Retail Banking products, procedures & policies
* Excellent command on Excel, SAS and other analytical tools
* Good knowledge of Consumer Banking credit risk management, business practices and regulations
